Best entrance at WM33

Postby AkydefGoldberg » Apr 03, '17, 2:04 pm

Rollins' entrance was causing amusement on Twitter last night but I thought HHH's entrance was the best. Not too over the top but simple and effective.

I wish Bayley's entrance was way more awesome than it was. They could have had like 30 tube men but NOOOOOOO. Also why was she the first to come out if SHE'S the damn champion?

Yeah, it would probably be Goldberg's honestly. None of the entrances at WrestleMania really stuck out or impressed me.

Charlotte and Banks had really cool entrances; I loved how Charlotte's was a call-back to Flair's last match in the same city, Orlando. Triple H's entrances just come across as more and more forced every year.

Yeah.

NXT Takeovers are where the coolest special entrances happen now. Roode's and Nakamura's entrances are more memorable to me than any in the past 2-3 Manias. I love that they always have special entrances for their main events.

None of them were all that great this year. Though Triple H's was a lot cooler than usual, at least. Which in fairness isn't saying all that much.

Triple H's entrances usually kinda suck, but part of me loves them as an extension of his character. To me Triple H comes off on television as an incredibly insecure egomaniac. So it makes sense that this character would give himself these elaborate "bad-ass" entrances every year that all manage to be so over the top that they actually come off as corny and kinda lame.

They all tied for last place. No that's not true. I'll pick the Hardys, they had by far the most exciting entrance at Mania this year.

I gotta go with Charlotte. There's something so simple about her but so.....awesome too. She brings such a uniqueness to the womans division and robe / fireworks just put her over the top.

Charlotte does know how to make an entrance.

She's getting more and more charismatic all the time. She exudes a real superstar aura.

She is probably the best performer the WWE has at putting over a character/persona without saying a word. What holds her back is the fact that I reach for the mute button as soon as she starts talking.

See i think 75% shes fantastic on the microphone. If i had to criticize her, the only two things I'd mention is she can sometimes interrupt someone else on the mic too soon, and it can be quite awkward as the other person tries to finish. I get she's trying to not leave those awkward pauses as someone else wraps up, but she needs to wait a little before jumping in. And she can sometimes be given way more verbiage than needed. No one wants to listen to a 10 minute promo, even if they deliver it really well.

That being said, i think she's second to none in terms of microphone and character in the woman's division. Simply brilliant.
