A long, detailed look at WWE and it's business, with some interesting behind the scenes dirt as well as the author spoke with several sources who have worked at WWE in high level positions.

The most interesting being the Shane McMahon and controversial author James Frey had a meeting with Vince, Steph and Trips in 2012 and wanted to come back under the condition that the two of them would have full control of creative.

Not a great article for WWE either, it doesn't make them look very good at all. Questioning their business practices, and in particular Vince himself. I did find that it seemed most people they spoke to sounded like they had an axe to grind with WWE though.

Not a total surprise that WWE and Vince BS but the line about fudging attendance figures was more telling as it wasn't challenged. Especially the last WrestleMania which was boasted about openly about breaking the record. I assume they were able to exaggerate as a certain portion of an arena will be boxed off due to setting up the stage etc?

On the whole, not a great article for the WWE. And Vince doesn't come off well but it's what has been reported for a long time that the biggest obstacle to their success is the guy in charge. He seems to be hell bent on expanding that he's making bad decisions on the area of the business (programming) that matters.
