Smackdown Commercials Split Screen

Postby DBSoT » Oct 12, '16, 3:52 pm

What did you guys think about Smackdown using a split screen during commercials? It seems like a really good way to keep people watching the product, while WWE can still sell the space to advertisers. It could eliminate the need for jobber entrances for full time stars. They could still go to commercial if there were just local jobbers or if ring maintenance is needed.

Eh, I still wound up fast forwarding through the commercial breaks. If I wanted a 10" TV screen I would have bought one.

Yeah, I fast forwarded too. When the commercials are on, the match just stops being appealing. The commercials distract from the action and there's the suggestion that nothing important is going to happen until the advertisements are over.

I do think it's a good idea, and maybe it will make some more people watch through the ads. But it didn't work on me. Then again, I don't watch the show live so the advertisements aren't targeting me to the same extent anyway.
