I read the results before watching the show and thought this was going to be a lot of fun. But it didn't really do it for me, being honest. It just came off kinda weird, with the face being a dick and the face announcers pretending not to see it. The whole thing seemed backwards. Who wants to live in a world where JBL is right?

A lot of it probably comes down to Ambrose. He's cut some great promos in recent weeks, but the funny/wacky stuff that he tries never comes off well. He doesn't have the charm to make this stuff work. Hypothetically, if it had been Eddie Guerrero out there in the guest ref role last night, the segment would probably have been amazing. But with Ambrose it didn't do it for me.

At least it's something new to talk about for next week. I'm just praying they don't decide to give the title to Ellsworth for a week just as a surprise/joke. I hate it when wrestling companies do shit like that with their belts.

I agree with this. What it comes down to in the end with Ambrose is that he's just not a natural face. I can't wait to see what he can do as a heel when they give him that ball to run with.
