Vince Possibly Planning Something Big For Hell In A Cell PPV?

Postby CMPUNKFAN » Oct 23, '15, 8:01 am

As of this writing, it appears one of two scenarios might be taking place at Sunday’s PPV, according to The Wrestling Observer. Either Lesnar beats Undertaker clean, to end their feud, or Lesnar loses due to interference by someone who will end up being Lesnar’s next feud in WWE.

There is no word yet as to who Brock Lesnars next opponent will be, or who he'll be feuding with between now and WrestleMania 32, so if someone does interfere on Undertaker’s behalf on Sunday, that could end up being Lesnar’s WrestleMania 32 opponent.

Brock Lesnar vs Steve Austin would appear to be moot at this point, given there was no indication during Monday night’s podcast that a match might take place, but there are still those in WWE who are clinging to the idea that it could still happen.

The reason cited is Vince McMahon would not blow off a major feud like Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker at a minor PPV like Hell in a Cell unless he had something a lot bigger planned. With The Rock also rumored to be facing Lesnar next year, that is always a possibility for Sunday, but The Observer notes there have been no rumblings of Rock appearing at Hell in a Cell.

The Rock interfering would be the most random, nonsensical thing ever.

Actually, anyone sans Rollins and maybe Reigns interfering would be random and it would be difficult to make sense of it. Rollins you could say was tired of being overlooked and whatnot and it would give Brock another reason to eventually destroy him. Reigns I guess would be a heel turn for revenge, but even then it has been so long since WrestleMania 31 it just wouldn't make sense.

Just have Brock win clean.

I think the reality of why they will most likely pull out a lot at this PPV despite it being second tier is the low raitings they've had lately, the fact that Survivor Series is up next and the fact that they need to do something to get people talking. Somebody debuting, surprising to take the US title off Cena will probably happen. they are wrapping up Taker vs Lesnar at HIAC because it's the most HIAC deserving feud they've got going on. The Dudleyz winning the belts for the 10th time in WWE and Sheamus cashing in will likely both happen at the show as well to try to get some discussion going and get things moving in a positive direction.

I'm skeptical as to what Vince McMahon's idea of "something big" is.
