Dolph Ziggler Suffers Another Concussion

Postby Georgerv » Jan 07, '14, 12:27 am

So apparently Dolph is out with another concussion after taking a Meat-Hook clothesline from Ryback during the Superstars tapings tonight.

Hopefully when he comes back (who knows how long he'll be out for this time), he gets back to the push that was thwarted last summer, annoys the crap out of me that he's not main eventing yet.

There is a reason he is not main eventing. I don't know what it is, nobody knows besides him and WWE, but you don't work your ass off and perform like he has consistently and yet fail to be a main event player.
Its a shame they are holding him back but it is what it is

All these head injuries aren't good. Dolph may have to call it quits.

That's the thing, Ziggler has been a mainstay on the roster for so long without any major injuries, until these past couple of concussions.

LOL Well they talk about this in Hockey a lot if you get one concussion it easy to get more and more because you are extra careful not to get one so sometimes you are unprepared since your just thinking of getting hurt

That is unfortunate to hear. I think he should take a good amount of time off to recover, then once he returns he could seem more important again.

From what I was reading on the dirt sheets is that this one is quite a bit more severe than the last. I would assume since he missed a decent amount of time with the last one that he will be out a while for this one.

I thought concussions were easier to get a second time because you've already torn tissue in your skull that kept the brain fairly stable, and the tissue doesn't grow back very well, so your brain bounces around much easier in your brain bucket. This could be soooo wrong but I thought I'd heard this at some point in my life.

Yeah they are easier to get what you said is correct. I had a concussion my self and it not fun at all. It could take time but also not good to rush because if it comes back it can be deadly so he should be concerned this time around because his last one he was only missed a few weeks.
