Gears of War 4

Out on the 11th of October this year, the new Gears was confirmed to be coming out on Windows 10 PCs as well as Xbox One (along with pretty much everything else they showed, seems they're going all in on Win10/Xbone cross buy) and all co-op modes will support cross-platform play! So that's nice. They're supposedly trying to bring the horror flavour back to the series from earlier games, the stuff I saw here made me think of Dead Space more than anything else. Not a bad thing by any means! Good to see Marcus is still kicking around, was a tad worried this new alien mob had offed him.

I'm intrigued in this. I enjoyed the original Gears trilogy (mostly doing coop campaigns with friends), so I'd at least pay attention to what this looks like as it gets closer to release. I'm typically in favor of new IPs but in terms of existing ones, this is one of the strongest franchises Microsoft has so I have no doubt they'll be going all out for this one.

I don't have a PC that's good enough to play anything worthwhile such as Gears 4.
