Read the small print, or in this case, the listing..!

This is the place for gamers to talk about what they're playing, as well as for discussions about the latest tech and gadgets.

Read the small print, or in this case, the listing..!

He got his money back sure, but I wouldn't want to be publicising this when you've made a right tit out of yourself.

I've heard of scams where people have paid money for a console and just got the box!

His four year old must be one heck of a gamer at that early age to have a Xbox One for Xmas! He's lying, bet he bought it for himself!

Feel bad for the scam, but it's not like this dude won't end up with an XBOX on Christmas. Some news agency somewhere or some website will find a way to get him one. Mark my words. This dude "and his son" will be playing Fifa Christmas day.

I hate people that are scammers so that why I buy things from trusted sources like stores that you can trust. Normally with game systems I get the newest one after everyone had issues with bugs and stuff plus then would be able to pick mine up at a local store or order online from trusted sources.

These sort of listings shouldn't be allowed to be on eBay.

Hope the scammer gets beaten to death with a metal ball bat.
Don't care if the "scamee" was a dumbass or not, and don't particularly care if he's lying about his son/Christmas gift, but it doesn't matter. There are douchebags out there that ruin eBay, and they should be de-nutted.

This story ends well. For one person.

The chap has been given a FREE console by an eletronic retailer. Tremendous genorosity or in a cynical way, you could say a PR exercise (not a bad one at that). I mean, to give it for FREE?! Considering it was the buyer's fault for not checking properly, probably would sold it at a discount than give it for free but good result for the guy.
