Are you a Achievement/Trophy hunter?

Postby JDD » Oct 09, '13, 3:43 pm

Do you try to get 100% of achievements/trophys in ever game, or do youjust play the game through and dont care at all about them?

For me ill play the game through and if i really like it, then ill look at the achievemt list and decide what i want to do. The only game i ever got all the achievements for was Saints Row 3 because i really loved that game. When it comes to sports games i usually go for achievements alittle more because it gives me something fun to do.

It depends on the game. I like trying to get all the achievements in games, but in some of them it's not possible without having Xbox Live and in others the achievements are just tedious to chase after.

But I do like testing myself for sure, and I'm something of a completionist. Dishonored has been my favourite game recently to get all the achievements in because they're all offline and mostly involve playing the game in different ways. It adds to the experience and the replay value, rather than just being shoed in.

If I see I'm getting close to 100%ing a game I'll chase it, otherwise I don't take much interest.

I definitely usually will give the achievements a once over to see what they are and how attainable they are. I like to get as many as I can, but I sure as hell never get close to 100% of them. Plus I hate achievements for collecting everything because I don't have the patience for that :lol

I can't honestly tell you the last time I even looked to see what all of the trophies for a game are. Other then the basic COD stuff or when something random pops up on Madden I don't really care.

I try to get the achievements because they're usually fun. I just give up on the ones that are too difficult.

Yeah, being rewarded regularly is satisfying. If I really like a game I will try to get as many as I can because that sort of tells me that I've done pretty much everything that game has to offer.

I will go through trophy list and see what they are. If some seem easy, I will try them. If they seem impossible, I won't even bother. I would be a great motivational speaker.

Somewhat, I will go out of my way to get a trophy or achievement but I'm not a trophy whore like some of my friends. But I do like the idea of gamer score and trophy levels.

Yeah it really depends on the game for me too. The games I put the most hours into and enjoy the most are going to be the ones where I try to max out the achievements. Because really by the time it gets to the point where you're going through and getting all of the achievements, it's basically like you're looking for reasons to continue playing the game, haha.

I sure am. I'm tempted to play the game until I get all the achievements that I can. I don't know why.
