What phone should I get next month?

So I'm going to be getting a new phone next month as it's my upgrade time. However, I know almost nothing about the phones on the market right now and I figured rather than starting my research blind, I'd have you guys give me some suggestions and look into things from there.

My only stipulation is that I will not get an iPhone. Feel free to make recommendations, and be sure to tell me what you like about it so much.

I got a Samsung Galaxy S3 after my iPhone 4S crapped out on me. I wanted the S4 but the S3 didn't cost me any money up front. With the release of the Galaxy S5 the S4 should drop in price. I ain't looked around at phones since December so I have no idea what the prices are like right now. I don't know anything about the differences between the different Galaxy's all I know is I'm enjoying my S3 way more than I did my old iPhone.

Anyways, im seen my friends Samsung Galaxy's and their pretty cool. I think it is the S4 or something my friend has. Its pretty easy to navigate, and he likes it alot. Cant really say much more then that since i dont have it myself. Alot easier to get emulators, movie torrents, stuff like that without jailbraking the phone or anything, if you want those kinds of stuff.

I find it wonderful. The camera is great (had a feature where you can take a picture that consists of several frames and you can individually change each face in the photo... so if first the Bro blinks and then the Mom blinks you can choose the pic moment for Mom's face that is best and the Bro's face individually), has a lot of nice features. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

My preferences are simple yet I am lost as to what to get

-no iPhone, must be android
-large screen
-decent or above average battery life, my current phone I have to charge at least twice a day if not 3 times and I fuckimg hate it

I have heard good things about the S4. Seems like an all around good phone with a lot of features.

I got a Nexus 5 about a month ago and it's the best phone I've ever had. I wouldn't go non-Google ever again.

I'm normally an iPhone guy, have had Apple tech for years. But I got the new HTC One last month and its a cracking phone! Google Play Store is a pile of shit for apps, but it works
