I've been a Playstation man since the first one. Love it. Had a 360 but that bitch red ringed. It was past warranty but I got them to replace it anyway. Still I don't care for Nintendo and was not impressed with Xbox.

Not sure why I have to pick?

I was a PS1 guy, then a PS2 guy, then switched loyalties to the XBox 360 instead of the PS3, and who knows what my next system will be.

I sometimes wish Nintendo would go all in and try to make a console that could directly compete with Playstation and XBox in terms of power and graphics and what not. Just to see what the "console wars" would look like.

If we're talking about current genration(by current i mean 360,PS3, Wii) then Xbox wins for me. Just edging out the ps3. If we're talking all time, its a really hard decision between Nintendo and Playstation. The first system i ever had was my dad's original gameboy, and i had every gameboy after that(yes even the micro ) But i spent so much time playing Playstation 2. From release day until Christmas of 2009 when i got my Xbox 360 i played my PS2 on a daily basis for hours a day. I still play it from time to time.

I think Playstation would just edge out Nintendo for me if this is all time.

If we're going on an all-time level, then it's Nintendo and it's not really close for me. The NES and SNES dominated their generations. The N64 was (IMO) better than the Playstation 1 and definitely better than the Sega Saturn. Plus, they had the Game Boy.

After that it gets trickier, but I'd put the PS2 over the Xbox, the Game Cube and the Dreamcast, and the Xbox 360 over the PS3 and the Wii.

So if you're specifically asking me in terms of right now I'd say Xbox, but over the course of my life the answer is easily Nintendo. I don't include PC in this because it's a completely different animal.

I actually prefer this poll without the PC as I feel a PC is much more than a gaming console.

I too will be skewed on my decision if its current vs. historical compilation. If it's historical, Nintendo has my vote. There are too many awesome times, and they set the standard on multiple occasions.

If it were today, Playstation is an easy winner, they have in the past picked up nintendos ideas and capitalized on them well, in the more recent years they have definitely made leaps in their own direction and are a major powerhouse among gaming consoles.

Xbox will never get my vote, having an xbox and a 360 that both broke on me, while I have a working nintendo, snes, sega, gameboys, ps and the like. Too unreliable, and I am not a fan of online fees, I am already paying for internet.

PS2 was my baby back in the day. I fucking loved it. Then the 360 came along and I liked it better than the PS3 and Microsoft got my allegiance. Now I'm thinking about just getting a gaming PC and/or laptop. PS4 and Xbone look real fun but computers seem the way to go now.

I was an XBOX guy for years, loved my 360, it was awesome and done what I needed it to do. Then I bought the XBOX One, thinking it will be a great console, it wasn't. It was horrible to use, the UI was horrible, so I sold that sucker for a PS4 and converted to the dark side and never looked back

That said, I also own a 360 and plan to get a PS4. Guess Ill vote nintendo, they have Pokemon.
