Farcry 4 is going to be amazing!

Last night I was doing a Karmatic event, the Captain and his boys were stationed right next to the side of a cliff, overlooking a river running down below.

I take the first few boys out with my Recurve bow, that shit is nice. I end up sneaking up on the captain to get a take down, he falls down the cliff into the river, after death....well part of the mission is to collect his dog tags.

So I'm like FUK, now I gotta go into this lilly pad infested river like I never played Far Cry before.

Sure enough, I go hop in this bitch and BAM this demonic ass fish attacks me, followed by an alligator.










I still pulled a Happy Gilmore on that Gator tho'.

I'll have to look into a few more reviews but I think I'll wind up getting this. I'll be getting an Xbone at Christmas and it'd be good to have an adventure game in addition to Halo and the couple sports games I'll be getting.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sequel change less about its plot and core gameplay than I have moving between Far Cry 3 and 4. It’s an impressive trick, but I’ll be amazed if it works again.

I have enjoyed Far Cry 4. I think it's a good game and the gameplay is as good as one would expect. There is so much to do that I think anyone who rushes through the main story isn't getting enough bang for their buck.

My issue is the game is nothing more then a next-gen version of Far Cry 3 with a couple of tweaks and new features for full price. I mean, it is like FC4 was full-priced DLC for FC3. The story is so boring. I couldn't care less about any of the characters outside of Pagan. Ubisoft used to be one of my favorite developers but they have gotten so lazy over the past couple of years. It shines the most with their Assassin's Creed series but I can already tell it will happen with the Far Cry series.

I guess I should have expected this watching the gameplay. Don't get me wrong, it is a fun game. I don't really regret buying it (nevermind, I do) but I do know if Ubisoft continues to sit on their laurels and Far Cry 5 follows the same formula, I am definitely not returning to the series.
