That's a little weird to me, but I guess it's a smart business decision. I bet very casual UFC fans might be more inclined to buy it.

It's weird, because nobody knows how he'll fight yet. So his inclusion in the game seems very speculative. If they have a 'create your own fighter' mode, they could have just added Punk as a skin or something. But I guess this way might garner some extra press for the game and that's rarely a bad thing.
