PC version of CoD: Ghosts is apparently really bad

Anyone played this game yet? I haven't and from the things I've been hearing from a lot of sources the game sounds pretty poor. The biggest glaring issue from what I've heard, for me at least, is that the PC version of the game appears to be a horribly ported piece of garbage, menu lag and choppy framerates even on really high end systems, lack of basic options like an FOV slider and the ability to turn off mouse acceleration.

I doubt I would have been picking up the game anyway but it's really disappointing to hear that, let's face it, the biggest game of the year has been released in what a lot of people are saying is an unplayable state.

Does this really surprise anyone? Lately it seems like the bigger the release, the more likely it is to have major bugs going along with it.
