The new Twitter profiles

...aren't very nice.

Looks like they've pulled a Facebook - where the layout is fine, yet they decide to change everything and annoy people.

Yeah I don't get why these social media companies do stuff like this. Why fix what isn't broken?

I like it a lot, actually. Before there was never much reason to visit a user's profile on Twitter, unless you were trying to catch up on earlier tweets from them that you may have missed. I like the idea of stickied tweets, I like all the info about followers and photos in a bar along the top, I like the larger header and profile picture.

The only thing that bothers me is there seems to be a bit too much empty space for my liking, but they still use the space more efficiently than old profiles did.

Because it is broken, sort of. Twitter isn't profitable. They feel like they have to try something.

Refusing to click the 'take a look' button on my twitter because I like things the way they are.

Edit: Curiosity got the better of me. I HATE IT (after giving it like 5 seconds). Sure i'll adjust after a couple of days but I think i'll keep the old profile for as long as it will let me.

I think it's good for business/organisations (where I handle my organisation's Twitter) it makes it bigger, vibrant and easier to read for people.

Personally, I'll be sticking the old profile, much more easier for me.

It's always disconcerting when they make changes, everyone moans, but then they get on with it.
