Booking SummerSlam

Cruiserweight Championship – Drew Gulak (c) vs Oney Lorcan This match is a great opportunity for WWE to showcase the cruiserweight in a different light with two guys that are much more physical and brawlers instead of high-flyers. They need to take advantage of that and let these guys brawl a bit o...

Re: Will you watch AEW weekly?

Yeah, I'll definitely watch it. It's interesting, there's reports that when WWE moves to Fox that NXT will get televised as well on FS1 and that it will air on Wednesday's against AEW, that could be an interesting battle.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Eric Bischoff to run SmackDown, Paul Heyman to run Raw (in real life, not storyline)

I'm not sure what to make of this for RAW or Heyman, but apparently Bischoff on SD isn't a creative position and he doesn't have anything to do with storylines. Instead, he's more of a liaison between WWE and Fox on business terms as they switch networks this fall.

Re: Booking Extreme Rules

^^^ I'd agree there's a lot of good matches on this card. My thinking with Joe is that it would make a better moment if he beats Kingston at SummerSlam next month after taking out Big E and Xavier leading into that final match. I would love to see Joe as WWE Champion but I agree that Kofi is losing...

Booking Extreme Rules

PRE-SHOW CW Championship -- Drew Gulak (c) vs Tony Nese – Gulak has done a nice job as a more serious character after doing a lot of comedy type stuff in the CW division previously. Here he faces Nese, looking to re-claim his CW championship that Gulak won at Stomping Grounds by pinning Tozawa. This...

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Eric Bischoff to run SmackDown, Paul Heyman to run Raw (in real life, not storyline)

In addition to Heyman and Bischoff, WWE is also in the process of abandoning the PG TV rating as well to try and grab the teenage audience ahead of AEW entering the frame. This week on RAW, Lashley and Strowman crashed through the set to massive pyro explosions (apparently, WWE is also designing new...

Re: How long will Kofi's reign last?

If Shane does win it from Kofi, then Reigns will likely be the one to beat him eventually. I am now positive of two things after last night's SD. First, Shane will indeed be the guy that takes the belt off of Kofi. Second, it's not Roman that will take the belt from Shane, but the Miz, who will tak...

Re: How long will Kofi's reign last?

I could see him lasting until SummerSlam. Dolph isn't beating him Sunday and I don't know what they'll do at Extreme Rules, but that's usually a status quo filler PPV that builds to SummerSlam. I don't see Bryan winning the belt off of him, don't really see him re-entering the main event picture for...

Re: How would you book Triple H's retirement?

He comes out on RAW Monday night sitting around a poker table with APA, Taker and Goldberg. They start talking about Super Showdown, suddenly Ron Simmons shouts out DAMN, JBL says, you're right Ron, the way they all wrestle at this stage of their careers is a damn shame. HHH, Godberg and Taker all h...

Re: Double or Nothing

I remember when Rhodes was partnered with Ted Dibiase years ago, and everyone told me that Dibiase was going to be a major star one day and Cody was just a guy. Back in the days where there were plenty of people on WWE-Club, I think me and you were the only people who insisted that Cody was the one...

Booking Super Showdown

The Usos vs The Revival – This feud has been mostly stupid, but there’s no denying these two teams can go at it and put on a show. As such, they should be able to let loose and just put on a good show without too many shenanigans. Usos should start out hot and get the upper hand until Wilder goes w...

Re: What one thing could WWE do which would most improve ratings?

I'm going to take a bit of a shortcut cop out, but tie it into the same thing, which is simply the WWE needs to change the way in which they tell stories. That starts with all of the weekly shows, they have pretty much followed the same formula for 15-20 years. As someone with a little experience wo...

Re: Jon Moxley headed to NJPW on June 5th

This will be very interesting. This match along with Tanahashi vs Jay White and the Finals of the Super Jr. tournament will be on TV on Friday for me, so I'll check it out then for sure.

I'd be more interested in seeing those in the US Military who worked to cover it up held accountable more than WWE.

Re: Double or Nothing

I'm intrigued by AEW and have been following some of their stuff online. I will watch their show once it hits American airwaves in the fall. As for Double or Nothing, I never paid $50 to watch WWE PPV's and I won't pay that for AEW shows either, it's just not something I'm willing to do.
