Re: Cleveland should be under arrest for robbery

I think I will end it there, actually. I think you and I could debate for days on whether Richardson is any good or not. However, this is the deal breaker for me. I don't believe running backs nowadays who aren't elite or game changers such as Peterson, McCoy, or Charles to be worth a first round pi...

Re: Cleveland should be under arrest for robbery

Rushing touchdowns are a very misleading statistic. Tolbert in 2010 had 735 yards (4.0 YPC) and 11 touchdowns. Would you consider him to have had an impressive season? They are entirely dependent on if that team is willing to give you a bunch of opportunities in the redzone. Scoring from 5 yards or ...

Re: Cleveland should be under arrest for robbery

I didn't compare it to the Hershel Walker and Ricky Williams trade. I said excluding (well actually I said aside but same thing) them because they are clearly the 2 worst trades of all-time.

But continue to throw out baseless comments directed at me. They ignite my fire. :D

Cleveland should be under arrest for robbery

What a bank heist they committed when they stole a first round pick from Indianapolis for Trent Richardson. I never exactly understood why people thought Richardson was any kind of good in the first place. He had piss poor vision and atrocious acceleration for Cleveland and none of that appeared to ...

This is one of the worst football games ever

Seriously. Giants/Vikings are just 2 incompetent football teams. Even Tirico flat out said it. "Both these teams are just bad."

S Meriweather FINALLY suspended for 2 games

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000267387/article/brandon-meriweather-banned-2-games-for-illegal-hits Brandon Meriweather has a well-earned reputation as a head-hunter in the Washington Redskins' secondary. His unwillingness (or inability) to change his playing style has taken him off the field...

Re: NFL breast cancer research merchandise

^^^ Did you read the excerpt yourself? Focus on the end, where 50% of the sale goes to the company selling the merchandise which is the NFL and its teams. A chunk of that 50% should be going to cancer research as well. Of course I read it and knew you would bring it up. Teams and everyone involved ...

Re: NFL breast cancer research merchandise

Second of all, they could donate all of the proceeds (the money that is made after paying employees) to breast cancer research That is exactly what they do. They take their cut for agreeing to advertise it, which is only 25% and 90% of that 25% goes to ACS. If you read this article, it explains wha...

Re: NFL breast cancer research merchandise

The NFL isn't a charity. The point is to raise awareness for the charity. The fact they donate anything at all is impressive unless you are advocating for them to not pay the employees and for the program who are responsible for getting the job accomplished (keep in mind the NFL is a non-profit orga...

Re: What unsolved mysteries would you love to find an answer

Well it only makes sense that if there is life out there, at least one species would be more advanced than us. That would only be if you are assuming that life has to be intelligent. Life could exist in many forms, particularly bacteria. Or could be no different than a deer or cow. As HFX said, it ...

Re: Biggest surprise in the NFL so far this season?

The Legend wrote: I mean that team is so talented on paper - significantly more talented than the Giants at pretty much every position except QB.

Eli Manning is just clinging on 2 postseasons runs at this point because outside of that, Matt Ryan is definitely a much superior QB than Eli Manning is.

THURSDAY NIGHT - New York Giants (0-5) at Chicago Bears (3-2), CHI by 7.5 - The Giants are the second worst team in football and 99% of the time they would be the worst.
