Re: What's been the greatest achievement of your life?

Since it now looks like I can claim children as an achievement :P

I consider my achievements the fact that I have 3 boys all under the age of 3. And that I some how con-ed @Shaneofan into marrying me only 4 years ago.

Re: Planting a placenta.

I have heard of both eating it and planting it. I would feel the need to keep that plant alive because of the symbolism of it all. I have heard about making placenta into a steak but the most common I had stumbled upon was drying it and turning it into a powder to use in smoothies and such. I mean i...

Re: Pets

I have a mutt of a cat. We got her as a wedding gift from my husband's cousin. She hates me but is passionately in love with him. She is missing part of her tail and never learned to meow... weird ass cat. I have always had pets though- dogs, cats, and fish and all of that. I have always enjoyed the...

Re: Disappointed in a book...

I like to try to read to the end of a book in hopes that even the worst book will get better. I had great hopes as I mentioned because I liked the movie so much but I find they come across differently. The journal entry styled writing just gets under my skin. The "I was doing ____, then I did__...

Disappointed in a book...

I have recently begun reading "Perks of Being a Wallflower" and I got to say I am disappointed in it thus far. I really wanted to like the book since I had heard good things and I loved the movie.

So my question is has this ever happened to you? If so did you finish it or give up?

Re: What's been the greatest achievement of your life?

I haven't achieved anything in my life that I would consider 'great' as of yet. My daughter is amazing (to me, anyway) but that's more to do with who she is and her personality rather than how I've raised her so far and It doesn't feel right to take credit for that. Well, now I can't claim mine or ...

Re: Movies where you've also read the book?

I have seen and read: Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Divergent, and The Fault in Our Stars. Hunger Games and Divergent were pretty true to form with the books and so I enjoyed both the books and the movies. However,Percy Jackson was HORRIBLE! the books were great but they messed up when it came to the...

Re: What's a craze you just don't understand?

I don't get the mullet coming back in style. I mean it looked ugly in the past but why does it need to make a comeback?!

Re: Do you watch much non-english films?

I have always enjoyed foreign films but rarely get much of a chance to see them; my favorite one for now though is "La Vita E Bella".

Re: The weekly bitch secession

I have a SHITTY family. If it wasn't for my in-laws I don't think I would be functional. My parents have this twisted need to control everything including me and now that I wont let them they get hurtful and mean. I am proud of the person I have become without their help or love for that matter. A p...

Re: Any high school regrets?

I have a few regrets from my high school years. I was a member of the "paint crew" which designed and painted sets for our productions and I LOVED it. I was afraid to join as a freshman or a sophomore because it was made of a crowd that my parents didn't like. In Junior year though I joine...

Re: Anyone get "that into it"?

I get emotionally attached during most TV shows, movies... hell even books I do. I have a very empathic personality and adapt easily to different situations so I see myself easily in others perspectives. @Shaneofan can attest he often finds me in tears over random things like commercials etc.

Re: Did you ever have a school prom?

I did go to my prom. I bought an amazing dress that cost WAY more then I should've spent on it. I got my hair done, had everything planned months in advance. I thought it was going to be the best night of my life- needless so say it was not. My then boyfriend got mad at me for dancing, tried leaving...

Re: Favourite films with a female as the main character?

I grew up very VERY sheltered so most of my movie knowledge is newer in age. My favorites as of the moment are Hunger Games and Divergent. I am very excited for The Fault in Our Stars since the book was very good.

Re: What's the worst thing you've ever eaten?

Chicken Waldorf Pizza

My mom made it once for my brothers birthday- nastiest thing that I was ever forced to eat. It was made with a classic pizza crust, mayo, swiss cheese, apples, chicken pieces, and to top it off walnuts and cranberries. He still requests it every year since for his birthday.
