Re: Build your team around a player who has been drafted in the last 3 years, who do you pick and why?

Re: Guy "proves" God exists

Hmm.... yeah, some people can "experience" a lot of things that are invisible to others. It is often identified as a mental illness...

Re: You're stuck on a desert island. Which of the following do you choose?

C. The knife works well, I like dogs, and to be honest if you have a basic understanding of where you are (as in latitude) and watch where the sun sets you can easily distinguish N-S-E-W. Books and alcohol- Let's be honest, THAT much alcohol you won't need to drink, but if you need to clean out a wo...

Re: Who read the Goosebumps series when you were younger?

Ahhh yes. LOL

I remember when reading the "choose your own story" books I would flip to the page to see what happened and if I didn't like the outcome I would go back to the other page. LOL

What's your vice?

Just random topic. What is your vice? I don't believe a vice has to be a "bad" thing, but often it is. I guess I would say right now my vice is book reading... but a couple months ago it was Sam Adams Cold Snap, before that I went through an amaretto phase. My vices tend to change from tim...

Re: If you could convince everyone in the world of one thing, what'd it be?

The there is nothing wrong with the concept of infinity- That not everything has a beginning and an end, it is more of a endless cyclic universe. Just because our minds can't process something that has no definite size does not mean it can't exist.

Re: Have you ever been the subject of discrimination or bigotry?

I currently live in the South. It's full of bible-thumpers that can be pretty cruel. I could tell dozens of stories of being discriminated against because I wasn't Christian but there is one that stands out in my mind the most. I was in Wal-Mart, in the toilet paper aisle of all places, and this eld...

Re: Should an assisted dying law be introduced?

I agree. Why force the person to suffer for months or years, causing pain not only to themselves but to all those who support them? It only seems logical.... Spend millions of dollars on care that the patient doesn't want and quite honestly can't do anything to make them feel better or allow them to...

Re: What do you like/dislike most about your country's culture?

Likes: The diversity, both in culture and in geology/topography/climate. We have temperate rain forests, dry deserts, humid swamps, tall, snow-capped mountains, volcanoes, SUPER volcanoes & fields (Yellowstone, love it) rocky coasts, sandy coasts, pine forests, hardwood forests, prairies... basi...

Re: Do you stick to the speed limit?

I used to be a speed demon. I have a lead foot. Now that I no longer own my Dodge Stealth and I have a Jeep I don't speed most of the time for several reasons. One- my gas mileage isn't too impressive and it peaks around 55-60 mph. Any faster than that and I am just wasting fuel. Two- I have a soft ...

Re: Who will be the team of the '10s?

Salary cap scchmalary cap. Seahawks. Yes, I am stubborn. Aside from the salary cap I think some of the players have a bit of loyalty to the team and each other. Of course money will always win in the end but I'd like to (naive as it may be) think that being part of a winning team and shares in the g...

Re: Who will be the team of the '10s?

Seahawks.

Pete Carroll and team has done a great job at building a well-oiled machine. They don't rely on one star player, they all work together to make each play a star so that the team as a whole can do great.

Re: What's something that you can be an elitist about?

The power of cheese. There is a cheese place about 5 minutes from where I live called Cheesmongers table, they do grilled cheese sandwiches and a bunch of other cheesy meals, but they have a pretty good selection of cheeses just hanging out and they let you sample and try stuff as well. I live abou...

Considering I currently have $1 to my name because my work forgot to turn in payroll, so they had to print a check for me instead of auto deposit and since it was the holiday the bank didn't get it in time. This is after I am trying to catch up because I didn't get paid for a month and a half becaus...
