Re: G'Day everyone

Hey dudes. I wouldn't say grand adventures, just trying to be a functioning adult really.

I remember enjoying bits and pieces of the Wrestlmanias I watched, I can't be specific unfortunately which probably says it all really haha.

G'Day everyone

My login details still work! It feels weird drunkenly strolling in here but I thought I might see some familiar faces. And I do. I was thinking about the old wwe-club days and just thought I'd have a sticky-beak. Do you guys remember the username? Anyway, I watched all the Wrestlemanias that I didn'...

Re: Beard thread

No products. I use whatever shampoo and conditioner i have left on my hands after putting it through my hair. I get it trimmed slightly when it gets out of control by a hairdresser who is a friend of mine. I trust her not to go overboard, she does a good job.

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

^ Yeah, he's definitely a flog. I love the way he bats though.

Sad to hear about Trott. He's a class act. I hope we see him back sooner than later.

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

Apparently Clarke is getting fined for his sledging during the match. Telling Anderson 'Get ready for a broken f#cking arm" That was awesome. It's great to see Australia with their tails up. Sledging is a part of the game, particularly between these two sides. If he gets fined it's an absolute...

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

Emphatic victory. Exactly what Australia needed to kick off the series. It will be interesting to see how The Poms go about bouncing back in Adelaide next week. Surely Ian Bell has to bat at number three for a start. By far the most in form batsman in the team. They can't afford to have him coming i...

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

Another good day for Australia. Hopefully we can take the last 8 wickets tomorrow. I'm expecting the remaining English batsman to put in a fighting performance. You feel it's paramount they do this to at least take the match into day 5.

Re: If you could see a remake of one movie, what would it be

Might be a bit of a waste of a choice but I'll go with Max Payne.

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

What an exceptional piece of fast bowling by Johnson. As I'm typing another goes! And it's Bell. You beauty. I've always wondered about Morgan. I've liked what I've seen of him, he has performed at test level in the past hasn't he? Surely he's better than Bairstow? He's a bum I tell ya. Horrible def...

Re: Who plays Halo?

I recently played the HD remake of the original and Halo 3 with a friend. Just blasted through the campaign. There is no way I could play it by myself, it's crazy monotonous.

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

On ya bike KP! Huge wicket for Australia. If we can get Bell sooner than later we will be in good shape.

On a side note, Carberry is impressive. He also looks like Wesley Snipes.

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

Well bowled Stuart Broad. I thought Anderson bowled just as well without getting the spoils.

I'm at work now listening to day two on the radio. Hoping Haddin can get a well deserved century then have our quicks take a few early wickets.

Re: Ashes 2013 Thread: Australia vs. England

Been looking forward to this test since the last series finished. I'll be up bright and early for that first ball. I think England will go in strong favourites, butI'm expecting it to be much closer than the 3-0 drubbing in the English summer. I think if Australia can win the first test in Brisbane ...

Re: What was your first concert?

The first major one with international artists was the Big Day Out Festival in 2005 when I was fifteen. The bands I saw were System of a Down, Slipknot, Beastie Boys, The Hives, The Music, Wolfmother and Frenzal Rhomb.

Re: What's your favourite 'girly' drink?

Purple Rain is pretty alright. What's that? From what I've found it varies from place to place, but the standard ingredients are: Vodka Cranberry juice Blue Curacao Lemonade Occasionally has grenadine thrown in there, and I've seen it made with gin instead of vodka before. We call this a Fruit Ting...

Re: 12 released video games under review by Australian Class

Fuck we are so lame sometimes. I think the reason for this is that our government has control over our classifications, whereas in places like the US it has it's own governing body (ESRB). I believe the 1st Amendment of the US prohibits them from taking that over. Now, I could just be making that up...

Re: Is there anyone here who's seen Gravity or Captain Phili

^ Really? I heard the 3D was actually beneficial in that film. It certainly wasn't as bad as so many before it but I think beneficial is a stretch. Gravity's setting would have been breathtaking regardless of 3D. My hate for it stems from having to watch a movie through dark sunglasses in a dark ro...
